Living The Christ Life

If we are born of God, we must live like God.

Yet the challenges—the issues of life—bring troubles,

which breed worries,

which spawn fear,

and from fear, everything worsens.

Like the poor man who, gripped by fear, holds back his seed

and reaps no fruit,

growing only greedier and greedier.

The issues of life prevent many from living the God-life,

yet the God-life is the cure to all issues of life.

Now, you will learn to live the God-life.

Tribulation, or hard times, comes because of errors in a Christian's life.

These errors call forth trials,

yet trials exist to fix those errors.

Job feared what happened to him before it came,

and at the end, his fear was gone.

Faith is what remains when fear is absent.

Tribulation births patience;

patience births character, the product of knowledge and experience;

thence comes hope;

from hope, faith;

from faith, love.

Yet it is impossible to endure this process without first having love.

You must understand what faith and love truly are.

But faith and love are fruits of the Holy Spirit, among many others.

Each fruit is a dimension unto itself,

with further dimensions within—like love, which has four.

These fruits are the byproduct of the Holy Spirit's work in you:

applying the principles of Christ, which are two—

the Word and prayer—

but the procedures are three:

seek the Father, go through His Word, and walk in the Spirit.

Learn this principle from the baptism of water and the Holy Ghost.

The principle is this:

Be in the Spirit and study the Word.

To be in the Spirit is to cease carnal-mindedness

and be mindful of the fruits of the Spirit.

You need the Spirit to be mindful of His fruits.

Other laws may work against you

until Christ in you finds expression.

Know that any spirit finding no expression through man's vessel does not exist.

This is why one can have the Holy Ghost and still lust.

Evil spirits are rebellious, unlike the Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit remains until you yield control to Him.

The Lord is your only way,

but you must surrender;

without surrender, you give control to the rebellious ones.

Prayer must be constant.

Next, understand the dynamic of the spirit:

You are not your spirit;

your spirit is joined to the Lord and becomes one Spirit.

So your spirit is Christ;

you are the soul, and your spirit is Christ.

The soul is like water, the spirit like air.

As the ocean flows by the wind,

so does your soul when you are in the Spirit.

The problem with the soul is its state—solid or liquid—

determined by the heart.

Holding onto things makes the soul solid,

so it cannot flow.

Fasting is letting go of all that binds you to the flesh.

Start by letting your heart flow with worship songs,

making melody in your heart,

and watch the Spirit move.

Let the melodies spring from love for the LORD,

so you can flow.

Begin by understanding love—its dimensions.

Study the love of God;

that same love dwells in you.

You must let it flow out,

then pray in tongues and prophesy.

When the Spirit moves, you must speak.

Speak solutions to those challenges.
