Baptism is a ritual by which we die to sin and resurrect with Christ.
It signifies death to the old self and rebirth into eternal life in Him.
The first baptism is that of water;
the second is of the Holy Ghost.
The first is our being born into Christ;
the second is Christ being birthed into our spirit.
This is how we come to be in Christ—and Christ in us.
During the baptism of the Holy Ghost, a man's spirit becomes one with God's Spirit.
To unbelievers, it may seem like something else,
but there is no salvation except one is born again.
Living like Christ means living by the Word.
The Word of God is the seed sown into one's spirit and we are also the seed sown into Christ.
