Intercession is standing in the gap for others — repenting on their behalf. Though we wrestle against spiritual entities, our victory is by standing in love and in truth. If there is a standing, there must be a ground, and that ground is our calling. Intercession is not merely praying for them; it is becoming them and seeking God on their behalf. Only after faith has come can we rebuke the devil and his darkness. The secret is humility — repentance before God as that very person.
